Paramount + has unveiled the official trailer and launch date for the highly anticipated new season of the Amazon Original Star Trek: Picard series. Season 2 will launch exclusively in the U.S. beginning March 4, Paramount + members will discover this second season in ten episodes at a rate of one episode each Friday. The trailer reveals that Oscar-winning actress Woopi Goldberg will reprise her role as Guinan from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

In the second season of Star Trek: Picard, legendary Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew venture into the past for a daring and exciting exploration. In this race against time, the Starfleet officer gathers old and new friends to face the earthly disasters of the 21st century to save the future of the galaxy and confront one of its greatest enemies.

For the new season of Star Trek: Picard, Patrick Stewart reprises his iconic role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons in Star Trek: The Next Generation, and brings the character to life in this new chapter. 

Alongside Patrick Stewart, this new season features Alison Pill, Jeri Ryan, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Orla Brady, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera and Brent Spiner. This season 2 welcomes Annie Wersching and surprise guests like Whoopi Goldberg and John de Lancie. 

Produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski and Dylan Massin are executive producers. Akiva Goldsman and Terry Matalas are the showrunners of this second season. 

The third season of Star Trek: Picard is currently in production.
