Jean-Claude Van Damme will Star in Jeremy Zag’s What’s my name ? 

Action star and renowned martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme is set to star in What’s my name? for director Jeremy Zag. Tyler Thompson will produce for Cross Creek alongside Zag and Van Damme. Cross Creek is fully financing the film.  Described as Van Damme’s most ambitious and personal film to date, What’s my name? marks his final and epic farewell to fighting.

Academy Award winner Nick Vallelonga (Green book) and Paul Sloan (Stilleto) wrote the script based on a story by Van Damme. Zag is the producer of the award-winning animated series Miraculous: tales of lady bug and cat noir. Wild Bunch International is handling foreign sales; CAA Media Finance represents the film’s domestic distribution rights. The project will be introduced to buyers at EFM.

Synopsis : 
Playing himself, Van Damme is left in a coma following a serious car accident. He wakes up with amnesia, unrecognizable to everyone, including himself. Through a series of fights, reuniting him with iconic fighters from across his legendary career (e.g. Dolph Lundgren), Van Damme begins a quest for his own identity and life meaning, leading him to one final match.
