Movies - The Brigade: Louis-Julien Petit's new film arrives in France on March 23

By Mulder, 30 january 2022

it took four years to discover the new film of director and screenwriter Louis-Julien Petit on March 23. After Anna and Otto (2013), Discount (2015) (see our interview online), Carole Matthieu (2016), Les invisibles (2019), La brigade marks his reunion with actress Audrey Lamy and as the trailer shows, director and screenwriter Louis-Julien Petit offers us a social comedy, a genre he masters to perfection. The film won the Best Actress award at the Alpe d'Huez Film Festival, which was given to its lead actress Audrey Lamy. The cast also includes François Cluzet, Fatoumata Kaba, Chantal Neuwirth and Olivier Faliez

We hope to be able to discover this film in preview in our favorite cinema, the Gaumont of Disney Village in Disneyland Paris (if necessary in Paris at the UGC Ciné-Cité Les Halles).

Ever since she was a little girl, Cathy has dreamed of running her own restaurant. But at the age of forty, nothing has gone according to plan and she finds herself forced to accept a job as a canteen worker in a home for young migrants. Her dream seems to be slipping away again... or is it?
