Serie - Law & Order : Camryn Manheim joins season 21

By GraeLeigh, 11 december 2021

The American actress is officially announced in the credits of the series that will return to the small screen in February 2022, almost twelve years after the end of the previous season.

Since her debut in front of the cameras in 1983 (in a role not included in the credits of Dirty Harry's return), she has played regular roles in a number of series (The Practice: Bobby Donnell & Associates, Ghost Whisperer, Person Of Interest or Stumptown). She will be able to add New York, judicial police to her long list of roles. She joins the revival series as Lieutenant Kate Dixon. Fans will remember that the role of Lieutenant Anita Van Buren was held by S. Epatha Merkerson from season 4. But the latter is not available since she plays one of the main roles in another production of Dick Wolff, Chicago Med.

Manheim is thus one of the new characters of the series, as Jeffrey Donovan (who will play a police officer) and Hugh Dancy (district attorney). On the return side, we know that of Anthony Anderson (Detective Kevin Bernard). As for Sam Waterston, he is negotiating to play the iconic Jack McCoy again.

Rendez-vous on NBC's antenna from February 24, 2022.
