"The universe of BELLE moved me, it's such a touching story and at the same time so current. I completely found myself in the characters.  It is an honor for me to be able to lend my voice to these very special characters. I am very moved to be able to participate in this project ❤️❤️????❤️ " Louane

Belle is a 2021 Japanese science fiction animated film written and directed by Mamoru Hosoda and produced by Studio Chizu. The film premiered on July 15, 2021 at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, where it was well received by critics with a standing ovation that lasted 14 minutes. It was released in Japan on July 16, 2021.

The film team is pleased to reveal that Louane, in addition to playing the main character, will also sing all the songs in Mamoru Hosoda's new film in French.  The 4 songs of the film have been specially adapted for France by the composer, musician and performer Cécile Corbel (Arrietty et le petit monde des chapardeurs).

Singer, composer, musician and actress, in just a few years, Louane, this multi-talented artist (two NRJ Music Awards, a Victoire de la Musique, a Cesar for the best female hopeful for her role in the film La Famille Bélier) has become one of the 10 favorite personalities of the French. Louane is also a very active young woman on social networks, which she uses to advocate tolerance and self-esteem.  These values are also at the heart of director Mamoru Hosoda's films and we find them more than ever in the story of BELLE through its heroine, Suzu, introverted in real life and liberated when she becomes a musical icon in a virtual world.  After the success of "Donne-moi ton cœur", "Derrière le brouillard" (in duet with Grand Corps Malade) and "Aimer à mort", Louane is back with a new eminently personal single that she co-wrote with Toma: "Tornade".  This song is now also available on the new version of her album, "Joie de vivre (en couleurs)", with 5 other unreleased tracks.

It is the composer and musician Cécile Corbel, known for the original music of the film ARRIETTY, le petit monde des chapardeurs, who adapted the songs of the film with enthusiasm and talent.. She says: "It was a challenge and an ambition to adapt these songs, which are crucial in the film, and which had to lose none of their meaning, their musicality, and their original emotion, while slipping into the poetry and power of the French language. I hope to have created lyrics that will have contributed to the birth of a "French Suzu-Belle", beautifully embodied by Louane." New album "Notes" (Fall 2021) and show "Enfant Du Vent" on tour in 2021/22. (https://www.cecile-corbel.com/)
