Movies - James Bond: Dwayne Johnson wants to be the next 007 agent

Currently starring in Red Notice on Netflix, alongside Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, the former wrestling champion has expressed his interest in taking on the clothes of the famous James Bond.

Since the release of Mourir peut attendre (No Time To Die) last October 6 (you can find the review here), we know that Daniel Craig will not return for a sixth time.

Logically, the rumors are going on about the identity of the next agent of his most gracious Majesty. If nothing is officially announced yet, the names of Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender or Henry Cavill have been circulating.

Another heavyweight, literally and figuratively, of the Hollywood film landscape has declared himself ready to take up the challenge: "My grandfather [Peter Maivia] was a Bond villain in You Only Live Twice (1967) with Sean Connery. Very, very cool. I would like to follow in his footsteps and be the next Bond. I don't want to be a villain. I have to be Bond.
It remains to be seen if the American-Canadian actor is serious in this approach...
