Marvel-Comics - Henry Cavill has chosen the superhero he wants to play

While the British actor is well known for playing Clark Kent/Superman on the big screen, he's not opposed to the idea of switching from DC to Marvel!

But he has a very clear ethic about how it could happen: "I would never say a Marvel character is already being played by someone else because everyone is doing such an amazing job. However, I've been on the internet and I've seen the various rumors about Captain Britain and it would be really fun to do a cool, modernized version of him - like the way they modernized Captain America. There's something fun about it, and I love being British.

Born under the pens of Chris Claremont (writer) and Herb Trimpe (artist), Brian Braddock aka Captain Britain first appeared in the October 13, 1976 Captain Britain Weekly #1 comic book. Created especially for the British market to counterbalance Captain America, he would eventually appear in comics across the Atlantic and even join the Secret Avengers led by Clint Barton/Hawkeye...
