Soon to be 26 years old, the young Belgian singer-songwriter reveals herself in a documentary released on the streaming channel.
Born Angèle Van Laeken, the soon to be 26 spring Belgian artist had been discovered via social networks in 2015 by posting covers there. She will be noticed from the following year with the one of Brussels, the track of Dick Annergan. We had to wait until 2017 to discover her on stage as an opening act for artists like Ibeyi and Damso.
If her first album, Brol, was released on October 5, 2018, the second, Nonente-cinq, is expected on December 10, 2021 (a week after her birthday).
The release of the documentary, soberly titled Angèle, directed by Brice VDH & Sebastien Rensonnet thus comes out just in time to dive into the universe of the singer.
We suggest you to discover her new video clip, Bruxelles, je t'aime from her new album:
Synopsis
Angèle, the Belgian pop star, talks about the fragile balance she has found between the joys and the solitude that come with fame. Usually discreet about her personal life, this is the first time that the artist chooses to tell her story in such an intimate way in a documentary that resembles her: spontaneous, funny, original, authentic.
