Colin West is an award-winning writer and director based in Los Angeles. He recently wrapped production on his second feature film, Linoleum, starring Jim Gaffigan, Rhea Seehorn, Tony Shalhoub, and Michael Ian Black. His films are known for their distinct voice in the grounded sci-fi genre and they’ve screened at festivals such as Fantasia, Raindance, Cinequest, and Chicago Underground, among others, and his short films have been featured on Vimeo as a Staff Picks as well as Billboard.com, io9, and Film Shortage. He also produced the 2019 feature film, Survival Skills, sponsored by Film Independent. He was an Annenberg MFA Fellow at USC's School of Cinematic Arts.
Sylvie Mix is an actress, writer, and musician hailing from Columbus, Ohio. With a background in fine arts she has recently been making the transition to filmmaking both in front of and behind the camera. She recently starred in the upcoming feature film, Poser, produced by Sundance alumni Loose Films, and is the co-writer and producer of Double Walker.
Synopsis
A young Ghost (producer/co-writer Sylvie Mix) haunts her cold Midwestern hometown, trying to piece together the horrific flashes of memories from her past. One by one she kills the men she believes were responsible for her death, though her plan is derailed when she meets Jack (Jacob Rice), a kind movie theater usher who inadvertently intercepts as she’s stalking her next victim. While Jack takes her in and offers her a glimpse at a normal life, her desire to avenge her own murder lingers on.
