Prime-Video - The comedy show LOL: Who Laughs, Goes Out! is coming

Amazon Prime Video announced today that the Amazon Original comedy show LOL: Who Laughs, Goes Out! will launch exclusively on Prime Video in France and in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on April 23. Hosted by Philippe Lacheau (Babysitting, Nicky Larson), this new 6-episode show will see 10 French comedians and comedians compete against each other with the only rule: whoever laughs gets eliminated.

Under the impartial eye of Philippe Lacheau, Inès Reg, Reem Kherici, Alexandra Lamy, Bérengère Krief, Fadily Camara, Tarek Boudali, Julien Arruti, Gérard Jugnot, Kyan Khojandi and Hakim Jemili will have to keep their seriousness for as long as possible while trying to make their opponents laugh. The winner will win the sum of 50 000€ which will be donated to the charity he will have chosen to represent but the others will not leave empty-handed. LOL: Qui rit, sort ! is produced by EndemolShine Production, a Banijay Group Company.

LOL: Qui rit, sort ! is the French adaptation of a successful Amazon Original program in Japan, Hitoshi Matsumoto Presents Documental, produced and presented by Hitoshi Matsumoto. This format was a hit and has since been adapted exclusively for Prime Video in Mexico in an animated version by Eugenio Derbez and in Australia by Rebel Wilson. The Italian and German adaptations are launched today: in Italy, the show is hosted by Fedez and in Germany, by Michael Bully Herbig. It will soon be launched in Spain.

LOL: Who Laughs, Goes Out! will join the thousands of programs available in the Prime Video catalog in France such as the French Amazon Original films Je te veux moi non plus, Connected, Brutus vs. Caesar and Forte, the award-winning and critically acclaimed Amazon Original global series including The Boys, Hunters, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Homecoming, Good Omens, Star Trek: Picard, Carnival Row, The Grand Tour, American Gods and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, all available on Prime Video.
