Cerermony - Cesar 2021 : Around the Nominees 2021

By Mulder, 26 february 2021

Following the Announcement of the Nominations on February 10th, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Techniques has given an appointment to all the Nominees, on the occasion of an exceptional event, Around the Nominees 2021. Faced with health restrictions, the Académie des César has set up a special program to offer the 2021 César Nominees a moment dedicated to each of them, to share and honor them, before the next Ceremony.

In the greatest respect of the sanitary instructions, about a hundred of them were able to go to the Trianon, in small groups between February 21 and February 23, 2021, and thus receive their Official Nomination Certificate. They then took part in a short interview conducted by two journalists, Hélène Verbois and Christophe d'Yvoire, an opportunity to discover and deepen their work around the film they are in competition for, but also their view of the Césars, their profession and the cinema.

The Nominees were then individually photographed by ENS Louis Lumière students in the Salle du Trianon, before being grouped together virtually to form a magnificent collective fresco representing the talents of French cinema in the year 2020.

The 46th César Ceremony will take place on March 12 at 9pm at the Olympia, and will be broadcast live and exclusively on Canal+.
