VOD - Willy's Wonderland available in VOD as of today

Willy's Wonderland is a horror comedy directed by Kevin Lewis based on a script by G. O. Parsons and produced by Nicolas Cage, Jeremy Davis, David Ozer, Mike Nilon and veteran actor/producer Grant Cramer. The film stars Nicolas Cage, Emily Tosta, Ric Reitz, Chris Warner, Kai Kadlec, Christian Delgrosso, Caylee Cowan, Terayle Hill, Jonathan Mercedes, David Sheftell and Beth Grant.

Some changes were made to the film during production. For example, the names of some of the animatronic characters, Beary Bear, Douglas Dog, Pirate Pete, Pauly Penguin, and Regina Rabbit, have been replaced by Gus Gorilla, Arty Alligator, Knighty Knight, Tito Turtle, and Cammy Chameleon. Due to legal problems, the name of the film was also changed to Willy's Wonderland. The main shooting started in February 2020 for one month in Atlanta, Georgia.

Willy's Wonderland is released on video-on-demand today and is distributed by Screen Media Films. It was originally scheduled to be shown in theatres around the world on October 30, 2020, but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has resulted in the closure of theatres around the world.

Synopsis :
A lonely man (Nicolas Cage) finds himself stranded in an isolated town when his car breaks down. Unable to pay for the repairs he needs, he agrees to spend the night cleaning up Willy's Wonderland, an abandoned family recreation center. But this Wonderland has a dark secret that this janitor is about to discover. He soon finds himself locked in an epic battle with possessed animatronic mascots wandering the halls. To survive, he must make his way through each of them.
