Cerermony - Cesar 2021 : Nominations 2021 : The Complete List

By Mulder, 10 february 2021

This Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at 10:00 am, the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Techniques, Véronique Cayla opened, under bailiff supervision, the envelope containing the 107 nominations for the César 2021. The list of Nominations was then published directly on the Academy's website and sent to the press. The first round of voting closed last night at midnight, the results were counted during the night by a specialized company, under the control of bailiffs. The participation rate of this first round was 54.9%.

The posters of the 46th Caesar Ceremony, taken from the film "Les Choses de la vie" by Claude Sautet, Studiocanal film, were also unveiled. This diptych pays tribute to two icons of the cinema: Michel Piccoli, who died in 2020, and Romy Schneider. These images invite us to remember our most beautiful moments of cinema, those who have left us, shared moments... These two posters declare our love and support for cinema and all its artisans.

The second round of voting for the 4292 voting members will begin on February 15 and will close on March 12 at 4 p.m., a few hours before the opening of the 46th César Ceremony which will reveal the new and happy winners of the 2021 Césars.

The arrangements put in place by the Academy are largely readapted in 2021 due to the health situation; they are also specified in the Press Kit of the 2021 Caesars.
