Crone Wood is a found footage thriller/horror set in the Irish Countryside. Like many films before, it explores the characters through the lens of a handy-cam directed by the characters in the film. But what sets Crone Wood apart from other films in the genre is that the story takes you somewhere completely unexpected. We follow a young couple on a voyeuristic trip into to the woods. There they discover a long lost pagan community that has remained hidden from the world. Best described as a lovechild between the “Blair Witch Project” and “Wickerman” Crone Wood takes you on a disturbing journey and is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine. This unique tale challenges right or wrong and questions if there is such a thing as evil- or simply different beliefs.
