Festivals - Gerardmer 2021 : Butchers will be screened

By Mulder, 20 january 2021

After a car breakdown, four youths find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere. One of them stays with the car while the other leaves in search of help. They do not realize that they are being watched. The two groups are soon captives of a family of sadistic butchers, who keep their "fresh meat" tied up in their wooden outbuilding. With clues of foul play, the four friends have little time to escape before it is their turn on the log.

Born in Ottawa, Canada, Adrian Langley has been developing an artist's soul since the age of four. His beginnings with pencils and paper then led him to paint canvases, then to project light and shadows on a screen. He has made a dozen films for cinema and television, several short films, music videos and commercials, on which he also serves as director of photography, as well as album covers. Butchers is his seventh feature film.
