The Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma and Canal+ have announced the date of the 46th César Ceremony: broadcast live and exclusively on Canal+, it will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021.

Faced with the pandemic that we have been experiencing for months and that will have marked the year 2020, the 2021 César Ceremony will offer a moment of celebration and support for cinema, and more generally, culture.

It will thus pay tribute to all those who, in the course of the year 2020, will have released their films despite the uncertainties and obstacles, to the cinemas that have made every effort to welcome the ever-faithful spectators, and in particular to all the artists and technicians who have suffered so much from this situation.

Around its Mistress of Ceremony, the talented Marina Foïs, the Academy and Canal+ are working together to reinvent this not-to-be-missed event, with the greatest respect for health measures, and thus make the great film festival a unique and unforgettable evening.
