In Tim Story's Tom and Jerry, one of the most famous tandems in history is found: when Jerry moves into New York's most beautiful hotel on the eve of the century's wedding, the wedding planner (Chloë Grace Moretz) has no choice but to hire Tom to get rid of the intruder. But the chase between the cat and the mouse could ruin the young woman's career, spoil the party and destroy the hotel! But when an ambitious employee starts to attack Tom, Jerry and the wedding planner, a much greater danger threatens them?

Originally planned as an action/computer animation film like Alvin and the Chipmunks (2009), the film slowly evolved into an animated form to capture the same veins as the classic 1940s-1950s cartoons by 2015 and to go in the same direction as Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988). A mix of traditional animation and real-life footage, Tom & Jerry is an exciting new adventure for our two legendary characters as they take on new challenges and even... team up to fight a formidable enemy.

The film is directed by Tim Story (The Fantastic Four (2005), Think like a man (2017)) and produced by Chris DeFaria (Gravity (2013), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), Player One (2018) The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (2019)). Tim Story, Adam Goodman, Steven Harding, Sam Register, Jesse Ehrman and Allison Abbate are executive producers of the film. The director was joined by cinematographer Alan Stewart, cinematographer James Hambidge, cinematographer Peter S. Elliot and cinematographer Alison McCosh. The music is by Christopher Lennertz.

Tom and Jerry is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 5, 2021. This will be the first theatrical release of Tom and Jerry's characters in 29 years, since the release of Tom and Jerry: The Movie in 1992.

Synopsis :
Tom, the cat and Jerry, the mouse have no more home. They move into a chic New York hotel where Kayla has found a job. But in order for her to keep it, she has to chase Jerry away before a wedding reception...
