Discover now the trailer and poster of The Lego Star Wars: Holidays Special. This new Lego animated film is the first to be broadcast exclusively on Disney+ and perpetuates the partnership between Lucasfilm and Lego.

Disney+ brings together some of the brightest stars in theLego Star Wars galaxy for a family reunion eagerly awaited by the many fans of the space epic: The Lego Star Wars: Holidays Special. The brand new animated movie unveils today its new poster and announcement film. As for its availability date on the platform, it will be at midnight on the night of November 16 to 17 to properly celebrate the "Day of Life" first introduced in 1978 in the Star Wars Holiday Special

The Lego Star Wars: Happy Holidays brings together Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the Droids for a joyous feast to commemorate the Day of Life. The plot, which takes place just after the events described in Star Wars: Skywalker's Ascent, shows how Rey prepares for this festive day. Accompanied by BB-8, she embarks on a new adventure to better understand the Force. In a mysterious Jedi Temple, she slips through a spatio-temporal rift that makes her relive the most emblematic moments of the nine films in the Skywalker saga. She meets Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan and many other famous characters, animated with more or less good intentions. Will she be back in time to participate with her friends in the "Day of Life" and discover the deep meaning of the holiday spirit?

Many of the actors in the saga lend their voices to the Lego Star Wars characters in the original version including Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO). Those from the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars are also part of the adventure: Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Tom Kane (Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Dee Bradley Baker (The Clone Troopers).

Produced by Atomic Cartoons, the Lego Group and Lucasfilm, Star Wars: Holidays Special is directed by Ken Cunningham and written by David Shayne, who is also Executive Co-Producer, along with James Waugh, Josh Rimes, Jason Cosler, Jacqui Lopez, Jill Wilfert and Keith Malone.
