Festivals - FCAD 2020 : Closing Film: How I became a superhero

By Mulder, 18 august 2020

The organisers have chosen as the closing film How I became a superhero, a French film in homage to the heroes of Marvellian cinema (a real French-style X-Men) but also to American cinema in its fantastic vein.

How I became a superhero is one of the first French superhero films co-written and directed by Douglas Attal, to be released on December 16, 2020. It is the film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Gérald Bronner (2007).

At Comic-Con Paris 2019, our media was present at the panel dedicated to this film in the presence of director Douglas Attal and actors Pio Marmaï, Vimala Pons and Swann Arlaud. We invite you to relive this panel with our 4K video:

Synopsis:
Paris 2020. In a society where superhumans are trivialized and perfectly integrated, a mysterious substance providing superpowers to those who don't have any is spreading. Faced with the increasing number of incidents, Lieutenants Moreau and Schaltzmann are in charge of the investigation. With the help of Monté Carlo and Callista, two former vigilantes, they will do everything possible to dismantle the traffic. But Moreau's past resurfaces, and the investigation becomes more complicated...
