Rambo: Last Blood is an American action thriller film directed by Adrian Grunberg, from a script by Sylvester Stallone and Matt Cirulnick. Almost four decades after he drew first blood, Sylvester Stallone is back as one of the greatest action heroes of all time, John Rambo. Now, Rambo must confront his past and unearth his ruthless combat skills to exact revenge in a final mission.

A deadly journey of vengeance, Rambo : Last Blood marks the last chapter of the legendary series. The film stars Sylvester Stallone, Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega, Yvette Monreal, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Oscar Jaenada, and Joaquín Cosío. Plans for a fifth film were announced on and off again since 2008 until production finally began in October 2018, with Grunberg directing the film. Principal photography began in October 2018 in Bulgaria and wrapped in December 2018. Rambo: Last Blood is scheduled to be released on September 20, 2019.
