Just one week before the highly anticipated DC Universe original upcoming series Doom Patrol premieres on February 15th, there’s a new teaser where we can finally meet the team in what we can call is a “familiar” environment. This series is connected to Titans, and its first season has a total of 15 episodes, ending in May 24.

In case you want to know a little more about these characters from Doom Patrol, we have some information and the official looks from the character’s poster and from the newly teaser.

Chief / Niles Caulder (Timothy Dalton)
The leader of this family is Chief, one of the most brilliant scientists in the world. We learned from the Titans series (Season 1, episode 4: Doom Patrol) that Niles is responsible for bringing the Patrol Together, even Beast boy who now is with the Titans unofficial team. With his genius mind could transform their lives to something more special.

Negative Man / Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer)
Larry was a test pilot, but a terrible accident exposed him to radiation, giving him the ability to see and project negative energy. He’s covered in bandages from head to toes but it doesn’t stop him from making a delicious dinner and helping people in need. Negative man has also appeared on animated series “Batman: The Brave and the bold” and “Teen Titans”

Cyborg / Victor Stone (Joivan Wade)
Mostly know as one of the members of the Justice League in the DC animated universe (based on his New52 comic version), or as member of the Teen Titans in the Cartoon series “Teen Titans”, recently “Teen Titans Go!” and “Young Justice”. This is the second time we will watch Victor Stone portrayal in a Live-action after his first appearance in the Justice League movie of the DCEU.

Not only Robotman has is part of the Doom Patrol, but also he have been a member of the Justice League united and appeared in the animated “Teen Titans” and “Batman: The Brave and the Bold”

Elasti-Woman / Rita Farr (April Bowlby)
Rita’s a founding member of the Doom Patrol, but before she was exposed to the toxic gas that gave her the power to change her size and shape, she was an actress. Her comic counterpart was also a gold medalist according to the silver age comics in 1963-1968. Elastiwoman appeared in the animated “DC Super Hero Girls” and on one of the latest episodes of “Young Justice: Outsiders”

Crazy Jane / Jane Morris (Diane Guerrero)
She has a dissociative identity disorder, with 64 “extra” personalities brought forth being repeatedly abused as a child and fragmenting her mind. Her dominant personality is Jane Morris a.k.a. Crazy Jane. This show will be the first time we’ll watch Jane’s character in any media representation outside comics.

Based on DC characters originally written and drawn by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani DCU Doom Patrol premieres February 15. New episodes weekly, only on DC Universe.

Synopsis
Doom Patrol reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of Super Heroes: Robotman aka Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man aka Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer), Elasti-Woman aka Rita Farr (April Bowllby) and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief (Timothy Dalton). Each member of the Doom Patrol suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found their purpose through The Chief, coming together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence. Following the mysterious disappearance of The Chief these reluctant heroes will find themselves in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg (Joivan Wade), who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.
