For two days, Courbevoie became an unofficial extension of the Wizarding World. Enter The Magical World 4, organized by Dream It Conventions, took place on September 5 and 6, 2026 at the Centre Événementiel, bringing together an unusually broad cross-section of Harry Potter performers. The final announced lineup featured Ralph Fiennes, Rupert Grint, Matthew Lewis, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Christian Coulson, Adrian Rawlins and Robbie Jarvis. It was a cast list built not around one corner of the saga, but around several generations of its screen mythology: Weasleys, Hogwarts students, fathers, memories and two different incarnations of the wizard who would become Lord Voldemort.

Ralph Fiennes Turns the Convention Into a Genuine Event

The biggest rarity was Ralph Fiennes. Dream It Conventions presented the appearance as his first convention appearance in France, instantly giving the fourth edition a different scale. His presence also created a striking piece of Harry Potter symmetry alongside Christian Coulson, who played the teenage Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. For fans, the convention therefore placed two faces associated with Voldemort’s screen history under the same roof, something far more specific than a conventional cast reunion and exactly the kind of pairing that makes fan conventions function as living archives of a franchise.

Rupert Grint Brings the Weasley Family Back Together

Rupert Grint was another major draw, with the organizer promoting Courbevoie as his only convention appearance of 2026. His participation on Saturday gave the gathering one of the original film series’ central trio, while James Phelps and Oliver Phelps returned as the actors forever associated with Fred and George Weasley and Mark Williams represented the family patriarch Arthur Weasley. The resulting Weasley presence gave the event an emotional through-line extending from the first Harry Potter film to the final chapters of the saga, while offering fans combinations of guests that ordinary premieres and promotional tours rarely provide today.

From Neville Longbottom to the Two James Potters

Matthew Lewis, whose Neville Longbottom grows from an anxious first-year student into one of the saga’s most courageous figures, added another direct connection to the original Hogwarts generation. The guest list also contained a clever piece of casting history: Adrian Rawlins, who played the adult James Potter, and Robbie Jarvis, who portrayed the younger James in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Robbie Jarvis’s appearance was particularly notable because specialist convention coverage reported that it marked his return to a Harry Potter convention in France eleven years after his previous appearance in the country.

Entry passes opened access to the convention, merchandise areas and scheduled Q&A panels, while additional activities included solo and group photoshoots, autographs, selfies and small-group meetings with selected guests. The official ticketing also offered premium tiers with priority access and bundled extras. Rather than simply watching actors promote a new release from a distant stage, attendees could build a personalized weekend around particular performers and character relationships.

A Last-Minute Change Reshaped the Potter Family Reunion

The final lineup was not identical to the one initially planned. Geraldine Somerville, who played Lily Potter in the films, cancelled shortly before the convention for personal reasons, according to Dream It Conventions. Her absence changed what had been designed as an especially complete Potter-family reunion involving Adrian Rawlins and Robbie Jarvis. It also illustrated the fragile logistics behind convention programming: guest appearances remain dependent on professional schedules and personal circumstances right up to the event itself, even when photo combinations, meetings and panels have already been announced.

Dream It Conventions framed the gathering as part of the celebration of 25 years of Harry Potter screen magic, a reference to the quarter-century since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone reached cinemas in 2001. On September 6, the organizer closed the weekend by thanking attendees for joining the reunion. That anniversary context mattered: the films are no longer simply a current franchise phenomenon but a shared cultural memory spanning generations, and events such as Enter The Magical World 4 allow that memory to be experienced collectively rather than only through streaming, rereleases or merchandise.

What distinguished this fourth edition was less a single headline guest than the way its lineup mapped the films’ history.
