SDCC 2026: Hasbro's Booth Blends New Releases with Fan Nostalgia
Wednesday 22 July, 10:00 PM PT San Diego, Centre des congrès de San Diego, stand Hasbro n° 3213 2026-07-22 → 2026-07-26
At San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Hasbro once again occupied one of the convention floor's busiest destinations, with booth #3213 serving as both a retail space and a broad showcase for the company's expanding portfolio of games, toys, and licensed entertainment brands. Hasbro promoted the booth as a home for Transformers, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Star Wars, Marvel, Ghostbusters, and several other properties, alongside convention exclusives sold through the Hasbro Pulse store.
The photographs taken on the convention floor reveal another side of the presentation. Beyond the queues and retail counters, much of the booth was arranged like a museum exhibit, with glass cabinets, carefully lit product displays, and themed sections designed to let visitors move from one franchise to another without losing the overall visual identity of the space.
Star Trek Magic: The Gathering Was One of the Booth's Standout Displays
One of the most striking displays in the booth was dedicated to Magic: The Gathering's Star Trek collaboration. The cabinet brought together the card game's different product formats, including a large Beginner Box, multiple Welcome Decks, Play Boosters, Commander Decks, and Collector's Editions arranged across several shelves.
The presentation was unusually comprehensive. Instead of showing only boxed products, Hasbro also displayed sample cards, booster packs, and larger promotional artwork. For visitors, it made the collaboration feel less like a single release and more like a full product ecosystem, spanning entry-level decks through premium collector offerings.
Several of the decks were organized by the familiar color identities used in Magic: The Gathering, while the artwork featured characters and imagery drawn from different eras of Star Trek. The display also included a rainbow-colored ensemble image featuring several of the franchise's best-known captains and officers, reinforcing the crossover's appeal to both trading-card players and long-time Star Trek fans.

Dungeons & Dragons Took Over an Entire Purple Gallery
Another major section of the booth focused on Dungeons & Dragons, with a deep purple backdrop and several glass cases filled with books, miniatures, accessories, and promotional displays. The centerpiece was Ravenloft, whose dramatic cover art immediately caught the eye from across the booth.
Nearby, Arcana Unleashed was presented with both its adventure expansion and map pack, accompanied by oversized cards and game components laid out on a white display table. The presentation emphasized the physicality of tabletop gaming: books, maps, loose cards, tokens, and boxed expansions gave the impression of a game night frozen in time.
Above the tables, shelves contained painted miniatures and collectible figures representing fantasy creatures and characters. The mix of books and miniatures reflected the way Dungeons & Dragons has become a broader hobby rather than simply a role-playing rulebook, with products aimed at players, collectors, and painters alike.

Ravenloft Became the Visual Centerpiece
The Ravenloft section was especially memorable because it combined product packaging with character displays. Large hexagonal panels showed characters from the setting, while a castle-like backdrop created a theatrical frame around the books and accessories.
Seen in person, the display had much more depth than a standard retail shelf. The layered acrylic stands and dark lighting gave the products a dramatic, almost haunted-gallery atmosphere that suited the Gothic fantasy tone of Ravenloft.
One small anecdotal detail from the booth was how naturally the cabinet invited visitors to stop and examine the miniatures and artwork behind the glass rather than treating the area purely as a retail display.

The Ultimate Display Connected to Hasbro's Collectible Heritage
A separate case labeled "Ultimate Display" brought together several premium-looking display pieces and replicas. Transparent, globe-shaped items sat alongside black presentation stands, while branded material suggested a showcase of higher-end collectibles rather than mass-market toys.
This section felt deliberately different from the more colorful card-game and fantasy displays. Its restrained lighting and glass cabinetry gave it the appearance of a collector's gallery, highlighting how Hasbro increasingly presents certain products as display pieces as much as toys or games.
The Booth Extended Beyond the Cabinets
Stepping back from the displays, the scale of the Hasbro booth became even clearer. Large illuminated Hasbro logos hung above the convention floor, while a huge wall mural featuring Transformers characters created a recognizable landmark visible from a distance.
The area was constantly busy, with attendees moving between the display cases, retail counters, and neighboring booths. Staff and visitors created a steady flow of activity, and the booth's open design encouraged people to circulate rather than simply queue for exclusives.

A Booth Designed for Collectors as Much as Shoppers
What stood out most from the 2026 booth was the balance between commerce and exhibition. While exclusive products remained a major attraction, many of the cabinets were clearly designed to be photographed and studied, not simply browsed before making a purchase.
That approach mirrors the broader evolution of Comic-Con itself. Collectors increasingly expect reveals, premium displays, and immersive brand experiences alongside opportunities to buy limited merchandise. Hasbro's 2026 booth embraced that expectation, presenting its games and collectibles almost as a temporary pop-culture exhibition.
From the Star Trek collaboration for Magic: The Gathering to the expansive Dungeons & Dragons gallery and the towering Transformers artwork, the booth offered a snapshot of the breadth of Hasbro's portfolio. Even amid the noise and crowds of San Diego Comic-Con, the carefully lit cabinets and themed environments made it one of the convention floor's most visually cohesive destinations.
