SDCC 2026 : Hasbro Unveils New Street Fighter, Zelda, Marvel and Transformers Collectibles

Hasbro presents its SDCC 2026 collector lineup

High above downtown San Diego, Hasbro hosted its annual press preview on July 23, 2026, offering invited guests a close look at products scheduled to arrive between fall 2026 and summer 2027. Held at the Ultimate Skybox in DiamondView Tower, overlooking Petco Park and the convention district, the event provided a quieter alternative to the crowded exhibition halls of San Diego Comic-Con.

The presentation coincided with the first official day of Comic-Con 2026, which ran from July 23 through July 26 at the San Diego Convention Center after Preview Night on July 22. Hasbro also welcomed the public at booth 3213, where visitors could discover its franchises and shop convention products through the Hasbro Pulse store.

The rooftop preview covered Street Fighter, The Legend of Zelda, KPop Demon Hunters, The Real Ghostbusters, G.I. Joe, Tomb Raider, Transformers, My Little Pony, Polly Pocket and Marvel. Together, the products demonstrated how Hasbro is combining new screen adaptations, video-game properties, comic-book history and nostalgia-driven collaborations.

Street Fighter’s movie cast becomes a six-inch figure collection

One of the central SDCC reveals was Hasbro’s first wave of six-inch Street Fighter figures inspired by the 2026 live-action film. The assortment features Chun-Li, Ken Masters, Ryu and Akuma, with articulation and accessories designed to recreate their signature fighting techniques.

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the movie is set in 1993 and follows estranged fighters Ryu and Ken Masters after Chun-Li recruits them for the World Warrior Tournament. The principal cast includes Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Callina Liang as Chun-Li and Joseph Anoa’i, professionally known as Roman Reigns, as Akuma. Produced by Legendary Entertainment and Capcom, the film is scheduled for release in the United States on October 16, 2026.

The approximately $27.99 Chun-Li figure includes interchangeable hands and a Lightning Kick effect. Ken Masters, also priced at $27.99, comes with a Hadoken effect, different hands and an alternate head wearing sunglasses. The $27.99 Ryu includes interchangeable fists, open hands and his own Hadoken accessory.

At approximately $39.99, Akuma is the premium figure in the first wave. He features energy effects, glowing-eye decoration and an alternate shouting head inspired by his destructive Satsui no Hado fighting style. The four figures opened for preorder at Walmart on July 23, with availability announced for October 1, shortly before the film’s theatrical launch.

Heroes of Hyrule brings Tears of the Kingdom to collectors

Created under licence from Nintendo, Hasbro’s Heroes of Hyrule collection begins with six-inch-scale figures of Link, Princess Zelda and Ganondorf based on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Each figure features more than 20 points of articulation, game-inspired accessories and window-box packaging decorated with character artwork.

The approximately $27.99 Link comes with the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, interchangeable Zonai power hand and a soft fabric cape. These accessories identify the release specifically with Tears of the Kingdom rather than presenting a generic version of the hero.

Princess Zelda, also priced at approximately $27.99, includes the Decayed Master Sword and an interchangeable right hand. The accessory is closely connected to her journey into Hyrule’s past and her essential role in restoring the legendary weapon.

Measuring more than 7.5 inches within the six-inch scale, Ganondorf is visibly larger than the other characters. The approximately $42.99 figure includes a Gloom Sword, scabbard and interchangeable hand. Its additional height allows the Demon King to dominate a three-character display.

The figures opened for preorder on July 22 through Amazon, Walmart, Hasbro Pulse and participating fan-channel retailers. Their wider release is scheduled for spring 2027.

Rumi’s electronic sword becomes a premium KPop Demon Hunters collectible

The KPop Demon Hunters Rumi Sain-Geom Premium Electronic Sword was one of the most elaborate products displayed at the event. Priced at $224.99 and intended for ages 14 and older, the replica is based on the Four Tiger sword carried by Rumi, the leader of HUNTR/X.

The rechargeable sword features motion-activated lighting and sound, more than 50 LEDs and effects capable of reacting to movement, music and singing. It also comes with a translucent purple stand featuring the HUNTR/X logo. When it is not being used for roleplay or cosplay, the sword can function as a customisable illuminated display piece.

Preorders opened through Amazon, Hasbro Pulse and Netflix on July 23. Hasbro announced broader retail availability beginning July 1, 2027, making it one of the preview’s furthest-dated releases.

The Real Ghostbusters celebrates its 40th anniversary

Hasbro revisited the 1986 animated series The Real Ghostbusters with two nostalgia-focused products. The approximately $46.99 Kenner Classics Janine Melnitz and Louis Tully 40th Anniversary Set presents both characters in classic Ghostbusters flight suits.

The package includes two poseable five-inch figures, two companion ghosts, Proton Packs, wands and stream effects. Its design and packaging are inspired by Kenner’s original toy line, while the choice of Janine Melnitz and Louis Tully gives collectors characters less frequently represented than the four principal Ghostbusters.

The second release, The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Plazms, is an approximately $89.99 Hasbro Pulse exclusive. A complete tray contains 12 mystery cans with six two-inch figures inside each can, producing 72 randomised minifigures. The 12 possible characters include the Ghostbusters, Janine Melnitz, Slimer and various ghosts, each available in six colours, including glow-in-the-dark versions.

Both anniversary products opened for preorder exclusively through Hasbro Pulse on July 23, with availability scheduled for fall 2026.

Lara Croft joins the G.I. Joe Classified Series

Hasbro and Crystal Dynamics brought Lara Croft into the G.I. Joe Classified Series with a six-inch collaborative figure imagining the Tomb Raider crossing paths with the G.I. Joe team on Cobra Island.

Presented on a retro cardback, the figure includes 16 accessories: an alternate head, interchangeable hands, two climbing axes, a backpack, a grappling hook with rope, a recurve bow, an arrow, a quiver, weapon accessories and a removable bandolier. The Dagger of Xian, originally associated with Tomb Raider II, is supplied with its own sheath.

The combination of modern climbing equipment, a classic Tomb Raider artefact and retro G.I. Joe packaging allows the figure to reference several periods of Lara Croft’s history. Priced at approximately $44.99 during the presentation, it opened for preorder on July 23 and is scheduled for fall 2026.

Transformers turns Megatron into the Decepticon emblem

The Transformers Icons Megatron was among Hasbro’s most inventive SDCC concepts. The 6.75-inch figure converts from robot mode into the Decepticon faction symbol in 27 steps. It includes a blaster accessory and a stand for displaying the completed logo.

Instead of adopting the usual vehicle or weapon configuration, Megatron transforms into the visual identity of the organisation he commands. The result can be displayed either as an articulated figure or as a three-dimensional Decepticon emblem.

Hasbro had not announced a retail price at the time of the preview. Preorders are scheduled to open on September 1 through Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers, with release planned for fall 2026.

The Age of the Primes collection also introduced Deluxe Class Sky Guard and Autobot Breakaway. Both measure approximately 5.5 inches and can transform from robots into jets before attaching to the separately sold Superion frame to form Nexus Maximus. Sky Guard converts into jet mode in 15 steps, while Autobot Breakaway requires 16. Both figures are scheduled for spring 2027, with prices still to be announced.

Polly Pocket meets My Little Pony

The Polly Pocket My Little Pony Compact represents a notable collaboration between Hasbro and Mattel. The $33 heart-shaped compact features exterior artwork showing Polly with Starshine and contains a hidden rainbow comb for brushing the ponies’ tails.

Inside, the miniature Dream Castle environment includes a stable, waterfall, sea-pony lake, fold-out door and rainbow slider. A micro Polly is accompanied by Glory and Firefly, both with brushable tails. A jumping hoop can also be removed and worn as a ring.

The product combines Polly Pocket’s miniature environments and secret accessories with the characters, brushable hair and fantasy locations associated with My Little Pony. It opened for preorder through Mattel Creations on July 22 and is scheduled for fall 2026.

Marvel Legends gives Miles Morales electronic expressions

The Marvel Legends Series Miles Morales Electronic Expressive Mask is a one-to-one-scale replica based on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 video game. Its electronic lenses reproduce the changing eye shapes used to communicate Spider-Man’s emotions.

The included remote control provides eight manually selected eye movements and five automatic sequences. The soft silicone mask can activate its expressions while being worn or placed on its included display stand.

Priced at approximately $139.99 and intended for ages 14 and older, the mask opened for preorder on July 29 through Hasbro Pulse, Amazon and fan-channel retailers. Availability is planned for fall 2026.

Hasbro also unveiled a six-inch Marvel Legends two-pack featuring Vision and Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, in costumes inspired by the Avengers: The Crossing era of Marvel Comics. The approximately $55.99 set includes interchangeable hands and three hex-magic effects. Preorders opened on July 30, with release scheduled for fall 2026.

Hasbro blends modern entertainment with collector nostalgia

Hasbro’s SDCC 2026 presentation was defined by products able to connect several generations of fans. The Street Fighter line turns upcoming movie performances into articulated figures, while Heroes of Hyrule translates a recent Nintendo adventure into a coordinated character collection. The Sain-Geom sword addresses cosplay and display collectors, and Icons Megatron transforms an established franchise symbol into a physical object.

Nostalgia was equally important, but the products rarely depended on simple reproductions. The Real Ghostbusters returned through Kenner-inspired packaging and blind-packed figures. Polly Pocket and My Little Pony combined the identities of two historic toy companies, while the G.I. Joe collaboration connected Lara Croft’s modern equipment with the Dagger of Xian and retro packaging.

The preview ultimately showed how Hasbro is treating films, games, animation, comics and vintage toys as parts of a shared collector culture. From Chun-Li’s Lightning Kick and Link’s Zonai arm to Rumi’s illuminated sword and Megatron’s unusual transformation, each major reveal attempted to capture the characteristic detail that makes its subject immediately recognisable.
