One of the most eagerly awaited parts of the panel was the official announcement of Star Trek: Section 31, which will star Michelle Yeoh reprising her role as Philippa Georgiou. The series, long rumored and much anticipated, will delve into the shadowy world of Starfleet’s secretive intelligence agency. Joining her in this endeavor will be actors Omari Hardwick, Sam Richardson, and Kacey Rohl, who are set to bring new characters to life in this thrilling, morally complex series. Director Olatunde Osunsanmi and executive producer Alex Kurtzman teased the audience with hints about the show’s direction, promising a series that will challenge the boundaries of what it means to serve in Starfleet.

The panel concluded with a special surprise that had both Trekkies and Whovians cheering. The announcement was made by Alex Kurtzman and Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies, who shared the stage for an exclusive conversation about the creative possibilities that such a crossover offers. While the details remain under wraps, the mere prospect of these two legendary universes colliding has sparked immense excitement among fans. Each attendee was given a special commemorative poster designed by artist Dusty Abell, further fueling speculation about what this collaboration will entail.
