By Mulder, Paris, Fnac Ternes, 06 july 2024

Santa captivated Parisian audiences at her showcase at Fnac des Ternes on Saturday, July 6, 2024. The free concert attracted a large crowd eager to discover tracks from her debut solo album, Recommence-moi. Fnac des Ternes, located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, opened its doors at 2.30pm to allow fans to take their seats before the performance began at 3pm. From the very first notes, Santa created a warm, intimate atmosphere, reinforcing her connection with her fans.

Santa is known for her powerful, emotive voice. Since 2009, she has made a name for herself as lead singer of the rock band Hyphen Hyphen. In 2022, she launched her solo career with the EP 999, featuring the hit single Pop Corn Salé. This was a successful transition, enabling Santa to establish herself as a respected and appreciated solo artist. Her new album, Recommence-moi, released on May 24, 2024, was enthusiastically received by audiences and critics alike.

At the showcase, Santa performed three songs live: La Différence, Popcorn Salé and Recommence-moi. Each track was greeted with thunderous applause, and fans were delighted to hear these songs in intimate acoustic versions. The performance was followed by a meet-and-greet with the audience, where Santa took time to answer questions and share moments of complicity with her fans. This interaction made the event even more memorable, allowing spectators to feel close to the artist.

This showcase at Fnac des Ternes is part of an intense summer tour for Santa. Having already performed at Solidays, she is due to appear at a number of prestigious festivals across France, including Francofolies de La Rochelle, Vieilles Charrues, Poupet and RTL2 Essonne en Scène. These concerts testify to Santa's growing popularity and her ability to attract large audiences, whether solo or with Hyphen Hyphen.

Santa's career is an example of talent and determination. In 2009, she co-founded Hyphen Hyphen with her childhood friends, and the band quickly enjoyed success, including winning a Victoire de la Musique award in 2016. In 2022, she decided to go solo, a decision that proved wise given the positive reception of her EP 999 and her first solo album.

Santa's showcase at Fnac des Ternes was one of the highlights of this musical summer in Paris. The artist captivated her audience with her powerful voice and touching compositions, while creating a warm, intimate atmosphere. The event confirmed Santa's talent and potential as a solo artist, promising many more memorable moments for her fans in the years to come. For those who weren't able to attend this showcase, there are still plenty of opportunities to see her live at summer festivals in France. We look forward to seeing you on June 11, 2025 at her concert at Le Zénith in Paris.
