Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is a 2023 American computer-animated superhero film helmed by director Jeff Rowe, who co-wrote the screenplay with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Dan Hernandez, and Benji Samit. Serving as the seventh installment in the theatrical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, the film represents a reboot of the franchise. The voice cast includes Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon as the titular team, complemented by a talented ensemble of supporting voices such as Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, John Cena, Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Ayo Edebiri, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Paul Rudd, and Maya Rudolph.

The story follows the Turtles as they emerge from years of seclusion to experience life as normal teenagers by performing acts of heroism. However, their quest is intertwined with a search for a mysterious criminal syndicate, leading to chaos when a horde of mutants is unleashed upon them.

Nickelodeon announced Mutant Mayhem in June 2020, with Rogen, Goldberg, and James Weaver producing under their Point Grey Pictures banner, and Rowe taking the directorial reins. The animation was crafted by Mikros Animation in Montreal and Paris, and Cinesite in Vancouver, drawing inspiration from school notebook sketches. The filmmakers aimed to delve into the teenage aspect of the Turtles, drawing influence from coming-of-age films. The cast lineup was unveiled in March 2023, and the musical score was composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

The film was screened as a work-in-progress at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on June 12, 2023, followed by its official release by Paramount Pictures in the United States on August 2, 2023. Mutant Mayhem garnered acclaim for its voice performances, script, and distinct animation style. A sequel and a spin-off television series for Paramount+ are both in the works.

The project's inception occurred when Seth Rogen and Jeff Rowe were brought on board, following discussions between Nickelodeon executives Ramsey Naito and Brian Robbins. The filmmakers aimed to accentuate the teenage facet of the Turtles, using it as a foundation for the narrative. The film's visual style was influenced by Rowe's teenage sketches and classic Turtles toys, resulting in a unique and sketch-like animation.

The cast, featuring Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon as the Turtles, was chosen to infuse authenticity and youthful energy. Recording sessions involved the actors interacting together to capture their dynamic chemistry. The film's soundtrack embraced hip-hop music, aligning with the urban setting, and even featured a nod to the past with Vanilla Ice's "Ninja Rap" making an appearance.

Promotion for the film included teaser trailers, sneak peeks, and collaborations with brands like Pizza Hut. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Experience allowed fans to explore the Turtles' underground lair. The film's screening at Annecy Festival garnered a standing ovation, and it was theatrically released to positive reviews and reactions.
