Lego - Lego DreamZzz - Our review of the press conference in pictures and videosĀ

By Mulder, Paris, MK2 Paradiso, 10 may 2023

We were present on Monday May 10th in Paris at the MK2 Paradiso for a press conference about the new Lego Universe dreamZzz. The creator of the DreamZzz series, Tommy Andreasen, and the marketing director for France, Sylvain Bouches, were present to talk about this new series and the next Lego Toys DreamZzz.

We were also able to discover the first two episodes in preview of this new animated series that will appeal to a young audience as well as to all fans of the Lego universe. The series reminds us by its approach and its confrontation between the real world and the world of dreams the movie A Never Ending Story. We also appreciated the numerous winks that are scattered throughout these first two episodes. We can easily understand the will of Lego to propose this new series to promote their new range of toys which will be available this summer.

We suggest you to discover in video the press conference we could attend:

The Lego DreamZzz series follows the adventures of college students, Mateo, Izzie, Cooper, Logan and Zoey, who join the secret organization of the Office of Night. They will learn to master the power of imagination to live fantastic stories in the world of dreams, and thwart the plans of the tyrannical Nightmare King. Ten episodes of the Lego DreamZzz series will air at launch on May 15. More episodes will follow in August 2023, along with an all-new product line.

"The Lego DreamZzz line is our first-ever concept celebrating the wonderful world of dreams and exploring what happens when they become reality, when ordinary kids become extraordinary and when creativity becomes a superpower!" says Cerim Manovi, Art Director of the Lego DreamZzz ™ line. "We want to empower kids to realize their wildest dreams and harness the true power of their imagination, and this is just the beginning!"

The Lego Group will celebrate the launch of the Lego DreamZzz line through activities and campaigns that highlight the creativity of dreams around the world:
Displaying three 3D billboards in Tokyo, New York and London, on which three different creatures from the dream world will escape into the city.
Launching a "Dream Creature Hunt" in Lego stores and on Lego.com, at LegoLAN and in a special edition of Lego Life magazine, in which kids will have to search for (and share) dream creatures to earn a badge and rewards in the Lego Life app.
Screening of the all-new 4D Lego DreamZzz movie at LegoLAND parks and discovery centers, along with other events.
A special edition of the free Lego Life magazine in July, featuring a Lego DreamZzz themed cover, games and a poster.
A 16-page Lego DreamZzz comic book will be included throughout the summer in various Lego magazines, including Lego Life, and distributed in select Lego stores and LegoLAND® parks and discovery centers. Fictional novels and a bi-monthly Lego DreamZzz magazine will be offered to curious readers thereafter.
The arrival of six new Lego DreamZzz non-player characters (NPCs) in the Lego Life app that will offer activities to challenge and advance kids. With the help of our Community Engagement teams, the NPCs will post comments on the hundreds of daily contributions from kids, to inspire them as they explore the new Lego DreamZzz world
The ability to watch full episodes and a wealth of derivative content for free on the new lego.com/kids streaming platform to experience the immersive experience, learn more about the characters and explore the different dream realms.

The Lego DreamZzz series will air on Lego's YouTube channel beginning today. The first season will be available on the Okoo youth app and exclusively on France 4 starting June 3; the Lego DreamZzz series will also be available for streaming on Prime Video and Netflix.
