Kotobukiya is  a Japanese toy and hobby company founded in 1953 (and renamed to Kotobukiya in 1981) that makes model kits, action figures, and figurines, and owns IPs such as Frame Arms Girl

KOTOBUKIYA CO. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the design, development, production and sale of hobby items such as action figures, plastic models, collectibles and other related goods. The company operates in the manufacturing and sales of hobby items. For hobby-related items, such as animated movie/popular game characters, the Company operates by acquiring copyrights from the publisher, product planning, development, design work, manufacturing management and sales. 

Production is mainly outsourced to manufacturing companies in China. The Company sells products through retail stores and mail-order sites operated by the Company, wholesalers, and other companies' e-commerce (CE) sites. The company also sells to distributors in North America, Europe and Asia.
