Our Review (3.5/5) :
Everybody has heard of the legendary Stan Lee (creator of Spider Man, Iron Man, Hulk and co- creator so many more ). He pioneered and excelled in the comic-book and entrainment industry. To say that there is any other person out there like him. Is not the case. Stan Lee, one of the most popular artists in the Golden Age of Comic Books, and still to this day. Stan Lee bring to the fans a movie he produced. A original movie, but not a typical movie, an compelling thriller.
Witten and directed by Peter Sullivan ( Ominous, The Contractor, Summoned) whose production company, Hybrid, is known for exceptional movies for television. Executive produced by Lee alongside Gill Champion, Barry Barnholtz (Leprechaun), and Jeffrey Schenck (Finders Keepers, The Crooked Man), The Sandman, which features genre standouts Tobin Bell (the Saw films), Shaun Sipos (The Vampire Diaries, Texas Chainsaw 3D, Final Destination 2), Amanda Wyss (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Ricco Ross (Aliens), stars Haylie Duff (Napoleon Dynamite, Material Girls). These actors come together in this horror story that bring out a new side of what the actors are capable of.
With a government agency closing in on the young girl, Claire and Madison will have to work together to find a way to stop the Sandman before he claims his next victim. On top of the Dr’s that want to keep her for their own personal gain. Factor in the sinister 'Valentine' (Tobin Bell) who leads a cadre of bureaucrats who do not mean well and soon, strange things start happening whenever Madison is around. Especially when she’s upset. Things move around by themselves. Cabinet doors open and close. Almost as if there’s some kind of supernatural entity haunting Madison. It's a journey you'll hold on to you seat for. And peak around the corners after you watch.
