Music - Westworld Season 2 : New Ramin Djawadi’s Music available

WaterTower Music today announced the release of the two songs heard in last night’s episode of Westworld. Multi-Grammy® and Emmy® Award-nominated composer Ramin Djawadi’s (Westworld, Game of Thrones) deftly re-imagined versions of “C.R.E.A.M.” (originally performed by Wu-Tang Clan) and “Paint It, Black” (originally performed by The Rolling Stones) are now available along with two previous song releases from Westworld Season 2 - “Heart-Shaped Box” (originally performed by Nirvana) and “Seven Nation Army” (originally performed by The White Stripes). All four tracks are now available to stream and for purchase. Full details for the album Westworld Season 2 (Music From The HBO® Series) have yet to be announced.

Today’s release of “Paint It, Black” differs from the version released on Westworld: Season 1 (Music from the HBO® Series), the collection which contains Djawadi’s powerful versions of “Back To Black” (originally performed by Amy Winehouse), “Black Hole Sun” (originally performed by Soundgarden), “A Forest” (originally performed by The Cure), “No Surprises” (originally performed by Radiohead), and the aforementioned “Paint It, Black,” among others.

Debuting in 2016 to become HBO’s most-watched freshman series ever, Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the birth of a new form of life on Earth. The returning cast includes: Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Tessa Thompson, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Clifton Collins Jr., Luke Hemsworth, Louis Herthum, Simon Quarterman, Talulah Riley, Rodrigo Santoro, Angela Sarafyan, Shannon Woodward, Ben Barnes, Jimmi Simpson, Leonardo Nam and Ptolemy Slocum.
