A voyage to one special attraction in Hollywood California will provide dozens of special and vivid experiences. Hollywood has many historic and monumental sites that have impacted pop culture around the globe. Madame Tussauds of Hollywood is one such spot that must be on your destination planner for Los Angeles.

As you arrive in front of the museum, you are bombarded with thousands of tourists from around the world taking pictures in front of the Shrek and Johnny Depp. Once you make it past the bustling crowds and the line of tourists seeking entry to Madame Tussauds, you walk a red carpet and have your first opportunity to have your picture professionally taken with flash photography as a group. Ashlea Tate (Marketing Manager) provided a tour of the museum with an infectious enthusiasm that you would be helpless to ward against. If you have never visited a wax museum you will wonder what took you so long to.

There are several venues to visit at Madame Tussauds of Hollywood, one of which is the Action Hero's zone which includes your friendly neighborhood Spiderman, California's past Governorator Arnold Schwarzenneger, James Bond, Katniss Everdeen, Bruce Willis from Die Hard, Bruce Lee kicking his way through the wall, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy, Zorro. What list of action hero's would not include at least one character from a console system with MCPON John-11 Master Chief. Scattered throughout the exhibits are props that allow you to interact with various figures. You can fight Master Chief with a plasma sword, or don Bruce Lee's uniform to become part of the action as he high kicks over your head.

For sports fans Tony Hawk is skate boarding next to you down the ramp, Kobe Bryant is guarding the basketball from you, if you can even reach it. You can stand next to Tiger Woods and either give him advice or try to distract him as he sets up his next swing. You can cheer on Lance Armstrong as he peddles his way past you in the Tour de France.

The second spot that you have an opportunity to have your photo professionally taken is at the E.T. Exhibit. Who has not grown up wishing to look into E.T.'s large eyes and ride on the bicycle that will fly your off into the great beyond. There are several locations in which you can have group pictures taken that put your into different situation and locations from movies that you have to experience when you visit. As you learn about the real Madame Tussauds and the history and growth of the museums to twenty four locations around the world, you find that many of the original ways in which she made figures 200 years ago are still being applied to todays exhibits. Each individual character is painstaking sculpted taking molds and measurements from the actor over a several month period of time where each strand of hair is plugged into the wax figure using real human hair. Often times the actor will donate clothing and be on hand for the unveiling of their wax figure at the museum.

In the Pop Icons room, Selena is an example of Madame Tussauds working closely with her family in order to capture a true impression of Selena's vividness of expression. She is in good company with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Whitney Houston and Beyonce.

In the Modern classics room you catch sight of Robin Williams brighting your day and bringing back found memories of all the laugher he brought with his stand up comedy and movies. He is in the company Jim Carrey, Leonardo DiCaprio gazing into your eyes and Cameron Diaz in her updated look from Bad Teacher. Based on what is currently occurring in the world and the input of fans, wax figures can receive a change of wardrobe.

Uma Thurman is ready to cut off your head from Kill Bill as Quentin Tarantino directs on her swordplay. All around her is the destruction of the fight and in the background you can hear battle and death arriving. If after your fight you need to sit for a minute you can pull up next to Steven Spielberg.

No collection of movie icons can be complete without the captains of the Starship Enterprise; James T. Kirk and Jean-Luc Picard and the captain's chair in which you can give the order' ENGAGE! to propel your ship at warp speed to your next away mission to save civilization as we know it.

Not to give away all the secrets of what you will experience at Tussauds, but you will meet Raquel Welch from "One Million Years BC", Moses, Laurence of Arabia. Clint Eastwood from Dirty Harry, John Wayne, Clark Gable from "Gone with the Wind" and many many more.

What is a trip to Hollywood without a visit with the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama who is larger than life. Since he left office he has some free time on his hands to spend with you.

Our final destination is the world of Marvel where you meet Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Robert Downey Jr., as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. As you walk up to Captain America or Thor you have the opportunity to don props such as Thor's Hammer or The Captains' shield.

An amazing opportunity for both young and old to meet and take a picture in physical contact with a Super Hero of choice is an experience you can have nowhere else. In "regular" museums you will have to walk behind a red chained off area and certainly not be allowed to touch a work of art. At Madame Tussauds the whole point of the experience is to create that once in a lifetime memory and take a picture with a character that sparks the imagination to cherish for the rest of your life. Before you leave you have the opportunity to watch a ten minute 4D movie that includes many characters from the Marvel Universe, and includes all the thrills you would expect in a 4D movie theater.
