Videogames - E3 : Dead Alliance, this is so good to kill some Zombies

By Mulder, Los angeles, 14 june 2017

We had an opportunity to play Dead Alliance at E3 this past week and are excited for it to be released to Xbox One, and Playstation 4 on August 29th, 2017. Each year at E3 hundreds of new games are showcased that are in pre-alpha all the way up to a completed and already released products. Dead Alliance will be released in a few months, but what we were able to see in both the visual graphics, sound and game play puts this game at the front of the list of new games that you need to keep an eye on.

The story is set fifty years after a Zombie Apocalypse where former military bases have risen to prominence as the only surviving city-states. For those who live in the wasteland between these grounds, the only hope for a better life is to earn citizenship. Join a team of mercenary scavengers or play solo across diverse maps as you fight to gain control of opposing factions in this MOBA-inspired, team-based FPS. Use zombies as a primary weapon against enemy teams, turning the savage walkers into gruesome armies of undead.

In most multiplayer shooter games or even multiplayer zombie apocalypse games, it is a competition of you and/or your team vs your opponent, or you and/or your team against the zombie/alien horde of invaders. Dead Alliance throws in a new wrinkle into a traditional type of game by allowing you to use the zombies against your opportunities with several new weapons called ZMODS.

You have the P.A.M which is a pheromone grenade that weaponizes all of the zombies caught in its blast radius, driving them into a frenzied state and directing them towards the nearest enemy, which as a side benefit to the player assists you in finding where the nearest enemy might be hiding out. The L.R.A.D is a modified U.S. Army Long Range Acoustic Device, that attracts nearby zombies, allying them with your faction for a short period of time which helps create some defensive muscle as you attack the opposing team. This is my favorite!

In addition you have a Trailer, Templar, Distractor, Enrager Grenade, and Hunter Grenade which can all assist you in your assaults upon the enemy locations. The game is currently set to be a played with up to 4v4 in the traditional capture and hold, king of the hill, free for all, and team deathmatch along with an additional new takes on competition maps. You have the option to play solo facing off against an endless horde of ravenous zombies, unlocking new maps and weapons as you progress and upgrade your abilities and loadouts while building an arsenal of high powered shotguns, rifles, crossbows and more.

You have an opportunity to pre-order the game on amazon for $39.99 in the United States with additional price options becoming available as the ship date gets closer.

The Day One Edition of the game will include:
• Eagle Eyes, Veteran, and Demolition Man packs, each containing a high powered weapon, attachments, and perks that will give you the edge on dominating enemy troops
• Frenzied Multiplayer Action - Play tight-knit 4v4, Capture and Hold, King of the Hill, Free for All, Team Deathmatch and more
• Seize the Dead - Strategically use zombies to distract, disable and attack your opponents, Utilize a variety of zMods including lures, pheromone grenades, and traps to get the zombies working for you
