Trevor Jackson, Director X, Lex Scott Davis and Jason Mitchell were present at the CinemaCon Photo Call for Columbia Pictures Superfly and also during the Sony Pictures panel at The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace. Superfly – the film that helped define a genre in its characters, look, sound, and feel – is reimagined with Director X, director of legendary music videos (Drake, Rihanna), introducing it to a new generation. Superfly is an upcoming action film directed by Director X. A remake of the 1972 blaxploitation crime drama film Super Fly, it stars Trevor Jackson, Jason Mitchell, Michael Kenneth Williams, Lex Scott Davis and Jennifer Morrison. The screenplay is by Alex Tse.
